Gastronomic Marrakech Riad Experience

Marrakech is one of Morocco’s most colourful and exotic cities and is surrounded by 10 miles of brick ramparts. Moroccan food is a blend of French and Arabic and is generally spicy, meat and fish appear in most dishes alongside fresh fruit and vegetables. Staying in a Riad, a small boutique hotel within the walls of the city, will add to the authentic experience.

Itinerary

DAY 1
On arrival at Marrakech Airport a private transfer will take you to your Riad to begin your stay in the Red City.

DAY 2
The morning begins with a private half-day  Food Highlights walking tour visiting the vegetable souks, spice market, the olive market and traditional communal ovens giving a real sense of Moroccan food culture. During the evening you can enjoy a three course dinner in your Riad.

DAY 3
A chance to put your cooking skills to the test with a half day cookery course at the Riad Star Cookery School. Shop for ingredients with your teacher then learn to cook seasonal vegetable salads, a main course tagine and a fruit based dessert.

DAY 4
Enjoy some free time before transferring back to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
