Day 1 - Fly from the UK to St Petersburg. On arrival you will be met by a guide and transferred to your ship
Day 2 - Following breakfast you will visit St Petersburg, take a tour of Peter and Paul Fortress, and the St Nicholas Cathedral of Epiphany.
Day 3 - Today you explore more of St Petersburg which was founded by Tsar Peter the Great in 1703. Visit the State Hermitage and explore one of the most impressive museums in the world
Day 4 - Explore Peterhof Park and Palace before returning to the ship to prepare for the Captain's Dinner
Day 5 - Sail from St Petersburg and cruise down the Neva River. Arrive in Mandrogi, a tiny island village that is a living museum and take a guided tour through the quirky wooden houses. See the famous Vodka Museum before enjoying a picnic lunch. Time to explore the artisan shops before returning to the ship and set sail along the Svir River
Day 6 - A guided walking tour of the Open Air Museum of Architecture, a World Heritage listed site on Kizhi Island. Marvel at the collection of well preserved wooden houses, windmills and churches that date back to the 14th century. Return to the ship to cruise along River Onega
Day 7 - Cruise across the White Lake and along the Volga-Baltic Waterway. Arrive in Goritsy, a peaceful farming town and take a guided tour and visit one of the largest medieval abbeys in Russia, the Monastery of St Cyril.
Day 8 - Today, discover what is considered the pearl of the glorious Golden Ring cities, Yaroslavi. Founded by Prince Yaroslav the Wise this is one of Russia's oldest cities. Explore the historic centre adorned with classical architecture and golden-domed churches
Day 9 - Watch idyllic rural life unfold as you cruise to the town of Uglich. A guided tour takes you to the former Kremlin and visit the colourful Church of St Demetrios of the Blood. This afternoon you set sail along the Volga towards Moscow
Day 10 - Cruise into Moscow and disembark to visit some of Moscow's landmarks including the Kremlin, before visiting the Armoury Museum. This evening you may wish to experience Moscow
Day 11 - Head to Red Square where you'll admire the ornate beauty of the onion-domes St Basils' Cathedral. Take in the GUM department store, Sparrow Hill and Lubyanka Square. Prepare for your farewell dinner on board with a toast of authentic vodka.
Day 12 - After breakfast you will disembark and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK
